  1. Building Code Appeal Board

    The Building Code Appeal Board's primary mandate is to rule on disputes that arise on the interpretation or application of the BC Building Code. 


  2. Building Inspector (Construction) - City of Cranbrook

    The Building Inspector/Construction Inspector is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the City's Building, Plumbing and Zoning Bylaws; and relevant permits, applications and inspections. The position also undertakes construction inspection duties as required and as assigned by the Director of Engineering Services/City Engineer.


  3. Building Inspector - City of Kimberley

    Reporting to the Coordinator of Planning and Development Services, the Building Inspector will oversee building approvals for all construction activity in the City ofKimberley, including on-site inspections of any new construction, alterations, renovations, and repairs.


  4. Safety Codes Officer (Building Inspector) - City of Lethbridge

    The major responsibility is enforcement of the Safety Codes Act, Alberta Building Code and municipal permit by-laws on residential, commercial and industrial projects.


  5. Permit Technician - City of Lethbridge

    The primary function of this position is to determine and evaluate required documentation for building permit applications. The successful candidate will ensure that all criteria for the permit are met, explain policies, bylaws and provincial acts to permit applicants in a clear, concise manner and read and interpret complex plans.
